Bobby and Andy hit golf balls. Bobby badly. And good.
Video Rating: 4 / 5

Cubby playing Disc Golf in the rain and mud at the Rutgers Disc Golf Course in New Brunswick, NJ. It has rained the last two days and the temp is 57 degrees at 2AM on 22 August 2007. This activity is definately not recommended for the fair weather Disc Golfer.

You’ve talked about taking golf lessons on air before… are you actually paying Charles Barkley or is he doing it pro bono as some kind of community service thing?

priyautd November 20, 2011 at 11:11 am

wcjjb75 November 20, 2011 at 11:47 am

Sorry to hear about the lost disc. Try the discs form blackjaxsports, com, they work great at night!

Sorry for the delay in responding. Sorry to hear that Pulse just missed holding the chains.

DiscGolfer November 20, 2011 at 4:14 pm

Congrats on 692!!!!!!!!! I am currently at 400. I have never ace’d twice with the same disc. 400 different discs all in my antique beveled glass cabinet with date, time course and hole# on them.

DiscGolfer November 20, 2011 at 4:58 pm

I had one but I ace’d with it.

DiscGolfer November 20, 2011 at 5:28 pm

The taped lights really have no impact on the flight of the disc at night. They still Ace for me.

DiscGolfer November 20, 2011 at 5:53 pm

Thanks! I really enjoy doing DGM as well as playing.

DiscGolfer November 20, 2011 at 6:24 pm

One of the greatest Ball Golfers, Ben Hogan, never got a Hole in One in Ball Golf and I have one ball golf hole in one but Ben is a much much much better ball golfer than me.

DiscGolfer November 20, 2011 at 6:41 pm

Nothing wrong with you counting that as an Ace of r your own personal tracking. I would not have counted it playing in competition with Brian. Congrats!

DiscGolfer November 20, 2011 at 7:07 pm

I have every Ace disc saved with the date time course and hole # on it. All 400 of them

corbo88 November 20, 2011 at 7:12 pm

224 is great, very respectable. I’m at 692 right now.

twitchey93 November 20, 2011 at 7:46 pm

wheres the champion groove?

editfreek November 20, 2011 at 8:22 pm

why dont you throw Glow Discs? Dont those things taped on there drastically effect the flight of the disc?

Soppa77 November 20, 2011 at 8:29 pm

Way to go Cubby! Nice work on the DGM also, major props for all the hard work!

whamo333 November 20, 2011 at 9:00 pm

wow lol i have been playing for like years but im olny 15 now so yaa never got an ace but i have hit pole and also basket 🙁 lol

ksouthwi November 20, 2011 at 9:46 pm

hey cubby.

i was playing a solo round the other day at sedgley before doubles was starting.

on hole 18 (239 from blue) i through two terrible drives.

i decided to throw one more drive, and it went in.

my buddy (gunkel, you’ve played with him) says it’s not an ace, since i threw 3 shots. it’s the only one i have

should i count it?

t3hsniper November 20, 2011 at 10:27 pm

WOW I would have completely lost track by now if I was you.

t3hsniper November 20, 2011 at 10:59 pm

hah My friend thought those glow sticks(same fishing bobber kind) would work good for disc golf at night. Though the course we go to has a lot of forestation around the course and it’s easy enough to lose a disc in the day. I wish I hadn’t lost my very first disc(dx leapard) yesterday, not only that but 2 days after I bought it =(

backanchorabstrakt November 20, 2011 at 11:11 pm
